And I was off again, this time for my fourth trip to Europe. In my travels, I often return to the same places I've already been because I enjoy those places and I want to experience more of them. And at the same time, I try to incorporate new destinations because there is so much to see. This particular trip was good because although I was to be returning to countries I had previously visited (Germany and England), I was going to be exploring parts of those countries I had not yet seen. So, all in all, a holiday to new destinations. I am a self-admitted procrastinator. Which explains why I didn't have a chance to sleep before heading to the airport to catch my flight - I was too busy packing and coloring my hair! I made the cross-pond flight with Mike, but we parted ways in Frankfurt, where I met up with Susan. We had our rental car, a German highway map, and a couple dozen CDs - what more did we need?
