Sarah & LauraMy most recent trip to Mexico was a scuba diving trip with Sarah and Laura. This was the weekend we discovered WAVERUNNERS!

Waverunners are way cool! It's like riding a motorcycle on the water, except you don't fall as much. You'll be going top speed, chasing boats & jumping over their wakes, then you crank the streeing wheel as far as it will go in one direction so the waverunner spins around on its nose. So fun. And then your arms get so sore.

LauraLaura got stung by a jellyfish, and was surprised by the camera as she walked through the drugstore looking for something to soothe it. They say urine helps, but that wasn't an acceptable answer.

The three of us love the water and the outdoors, but you can't really tell from looking at us - let's just say our complexions give us away as people who spend a lot of time inside a club or in front of the computer. Merchants intent on luring us into conversation would ask, "Where are you from? Canada? England? Greenland?" One evening we were sitting in a restaurant, quietly eating our dinner and minding our own business when a mariachi band walks in and heads toward our table. Earlier in the day, I had made the mistake of telling Laura & Sarah that I liked the song "Tequila" (you know, the one they sing in "Dogs in Space"), and the next thing I know, our table is being serenaded with that very song. Okay, ha ha, that's funny now leave us alone. But noooo. Suddenly the band breaks into the Macarena song! And if that's not bad enough, the band members drag the three of us out of our chairs and force us to dance along with them. Thankfully there were no cameras there.
